π Prepare, distribute, and store medications π Assist with IV admixtures and chemotherapy preparations π₯οΈ Utilize automated and computerized dispensing systems π€ Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams π Once trained, teach and mentor other technicians ποΈ Support administrative and operational pharmacy functions π Career Growth & Advancement This position is part of a structured technician ladder, designed to: π± Build advanced skills and clinical knowledge π Support professional development and certification growth π§ Create opportunities for leadership, training, and expanded responsibilities β Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Commitment to patient-centered care and safety π Licensure & Certification Active Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy licensure (Pharmacy Technician) National Pharmacy Technician Certification (current) π Education & Experience High School Diploma (minimum age 18) Minimum 1,000 hours as a Pharmacy Technician 2+ years of hospital or related pharmacy experience preferred (Exceptional aptitude may be considered in lieu of experience) β° Schedule Highlights Weekday shifts starting at 6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. Rare evening coverage during vacation periods Participation in on-call overnight rotation Weekend rotation approximately every three weeks π Additional Requirements Willingness to work across multiple locations Valid driver's license and personal vehicle requiredPay Range:
$24.50 - $32.97The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
