Expected Responsibilities:
⦁ Assist pharmacists with filling, labeling, and special tasks as needed ⦁ Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations such as HIPAA, Fraud,Waste & Abuse and more ⦁ Data Entry, accurate insurance billing, maintain logs, records and other required documents ⦁ Completes work in a fast pace environment sufficiently. Manages own time, conduct and performance including space, paper, ethics, punctuality and customer focus ⦁ Participates in educational and training programs ⦁ May be required to take part in business outreach as needed ⦁ Must be able to multi-task. Adapt positively to changes in workload and interruptions ⦁ Keep all pharmacy areas and equipments clean with proper chemicals and well organized ⦁ Proper inventory management: order & restock, rotate, perform returns for outdates, invoices, documents and more ⦁ Accurately package medication in multi-dose blisters ⦁ Answer telephone calls, solve situations effectively, and direct to correct department
Requirements:
⦁ High School Diploma or G.E.D. ⦁ Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician ( willing to train if no experience ) ⦁ Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of MA required ( Certified preferred but not required ) ⦁ Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills ⦁ Is punctual and dependable. ⦁ Familiar with Dispill preferred but not required ⦁ Demonstrates comprehensive computer abilities and good verbal/written communication skills ⦁ Multi-Lingual preferred ( Spanish/Khmer ) ⦁ Will be required to pass a drug test and background check If you would like to work for a company who will value you more than just an employee, then apply now.
