Pharmacy Tech-Oncology Hours:

40hrs

Shift:

Day shift, Monday

• Friday 7:00am
• 4:30pm

Location:

Cancer Center

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or Designee and direct supervision of the Pharmacist, perform a wide variety of duties involving responsibility in preparing products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following

guidelines as well as performing all cleaning per guidelines. Other duties include the purchasing of supplies and medications and generating automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow-up.

Qualifications:

High School graduate or the equivalent is required. Additional clinical course work or training is preferred. Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire. One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred. Previous clean-room and/or oncology experience preferred. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the

COVID 19

virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation:

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range:

USD $19.18
