Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This role involves working primarily day shifts with an 8-hour schedule, providing essential pharmacy services within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding according to established protocols Restock and manage inventory in Pyxis automated dispensing units Support pharmacy operations utilizing EPIC electronic health record systems Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the pharmacy department

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license required Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques Familiarity with Pyxis medication management systems and EPIC software is essential Ability to work independently and effectively within a healthcare team

Schedule:
