Job Description

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $26.73- $40.10 , excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth. Eligible employees may also participate in comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, and wage increase programs, depending on position type (full-time, part-time, or per diem) and applicable eligibility criteria. As the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor , you will oversee and innovate the day to day non-clinical functions of the pharmacy dispensing systems. This individual will have oversight of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Interns.
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a Hospital or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in a hospital pharmacy. Interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate with other health care personnel. Familiarity with medical/ drug terminology, abbreviations, routes of administration, pharmacy security and product selection. Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Certified Pharmacy Technician Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting of negligible to 10 lbs, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs and carrying up to 15 ft. Standing/walking for prolonged periods. Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching. Keyboarding 6-8 hours/day. Ability to distinguish colors and read numbers. Work environment may contain dust or other irritants. Use hands for fine and gross manipulation.
