Week Shift:
4x10hr shifts. Weekend rotation required Key Responsibilities Retrieve medications from the central pharmacy and accurately restock automated dispensing cabinets. Prepare, package, and distribute medications in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform mathematical calculations required for preparing non-sterile compounded medications and other pharmaceutical products. Assist with sterile medication and IV preparation while maintaining aseptic technique. Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations regarding controlled substances. Utilize pharmacy technology, automation systems, robotics, software applications, and information systems to support daily operations. Read, interpret, and follow complex written and verbal instructions related to medication preparation and distribution. Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred. Required Certifications Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or PTCB) TSHL01
