Day In The Life:
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will work to lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team by ensuring proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.Additional tasks and responsibilities include:
+ Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives + Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance + Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed + Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal lawsThe Team:

- + Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law + One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional Skills/Experience, but not
Required:
+ Prior experience in the long-term care industry + Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting + PTCB National CertificationEducation:
- + Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
