Job Description

Seeking an energetic and personable person to work in our pharmacy department. As a clerk you will greet and assist patients picking up prescriptions, file and manage all prescription hard copies, and answer phones. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
(This list may not be all inclusive.) Receive prescription and verify patient information, including current insurance information, allergies, etc. Input patient and prescription information into pharmacy software. Process, troubleshoot, and adjudicate prescription. Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions. Verify with pharmacist all prescriptions before being dispensed to patient. Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory. Collect money for prescriptions and over-the-counter items. Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude at all times when working with customers. Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Work with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regard to 340B. Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED 1 year experience preferred
