LTC Mail Order Pharmacy Technician | Warren, Michigan RPh on the Go - 4.1 Warren, MI Job Details Contract 13 hours ago Qualifications Pharmacy Technician License Pharmacy Technician Certification Full Job Description Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a long-term care mail order pharmacy environment on a rotating days/evenings shift. The position is a 7-week contract in Warren, MI, with four openings available.
Schedule:
Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 9:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications with precision Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data accurately for reimbursement processing Assist under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist by prepackaging medications according to regulatory standards Support the Pharmacist in final prescription checks, including labeling and packaging post-final review Participate in inventory management, including receiving, rotating stock, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and meets safety standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required Michigan Pharmacy Technician License is mandatory Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred Sterile compounding and IV preparation experience considered a strong plus This role offers an excellent chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a specialized setting with dynamic shifts.
