The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
  • Prepare medications by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and ensuring proper dosages
  • Assist in filling prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders, counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing medications
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing orders, and verifying receipt
  • Provide quality customer service to patients by greeting them in person and over the phone, answering questions, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practices Requirements
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
