Pharmacy Intern; 2nd Year

Job Overview This internship will be responsible for assisting in formulary management and the post-Pharmacy and Therapeutics implementation process. This is a casual position with the expectation of approximately 6-8 hours per week.

Responsibilities will include:

assisting in maintaining and updating medication information on our internal department website, developing medication monographs, and performing small medication use evaluations as well as assisting with drug information questions.

Skills:

A second year pharmacy student that is experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.

Other skills that are preferred:

previous data and analytics experience and a strong understanding of statistics. Required Qualifications Enrolled as a Student at an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy beginning Fall Finished First Year of Pharmacy School Excellent customer service skills, proficient in English language, capable of solving problems effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, and competent mathematical skills Preferred Qualifications Enrolled as a Student at the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy Pharmacy experience in infusion therapies, retail and/or hospital setting Minnesota Pharmacy Intern License Benefit Overview Although this is considered a non-benefit eligible position, Fairview offers employees the option to participate in the Fairview 403(b) plan, earn Sick and Safe Time, and early access to earned wages.
