Job Description

Job Overview The Pharmacy Technician I - Shipping and Receiving is responsible for delivery, fulfillment and inventory activities within the designated pharmacy or shipping department. Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician I - Shipping and Receiving is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in the Shipping and Warehouse department. The Pharmacy Technician I - Shipping and Receiving is responsible for delivery ticket fulfillment, labeling and packaging medications and orders and inventory management.
Responsibilities Order Coordination & Fulfillment :
Track, package, and label medications and equipment, ensuring proper receipt and transfer within the pharmacy or shipping department.
Inventory Management :
Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels
Shipping & Logistics :
Coordinate the timely dispatch of medications and orders while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Customer Service Excellence :
Uphold pharmacy service standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality, fostering teamwork, and utilizing effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance :
Support and adhere to pharmacy SOPs, quality assurance, performance improvement, and compliance programs, recognizing trends and identifying when additional reporting or action is needed.
Regulatory Competency :
Demonstrate compliance with all federal, state, and agency policies, ensuring best practices in medication handling and distribution. Required Qualifications Six months of customer service experience.
