Pharmacy Technician

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is currently accepting applications for a Pharmacy Technician for our Ava Clinic.

Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, and in full compliance with state and federal regulations, the Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting the efficient, accurate, and safe operation of the pharmacy. This position ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Pharmacist in all aspects of daily pharmacy operations. Accurately receive, process, and fill prescriptions in a timely and compliant manner. Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues as needed. Maintain appropriate inventory levels by ordering, stocking, labeling, and organizing medications and supplies. Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner. Operate and maintain patient health information systems and point-of-sale registers with accuracy and confidentiality. Adhere to all pharmacy laws, safety standards, and company protocols.

Qualifications:

Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required. Knowledge of pharmacy law, medical terminology, medication classifications, and dosage measurements. Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience strongly preferred. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
