Pharmacy Technician

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our staff in the Hospital Pharmacy Department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Department:

CMH Hospital Pharmacy compounds and dispenses medications by means of standard physical and chemical procedures to fill medication orders and prescription requests issued by physicians and other qualified prescribers.

A typical day will include:

Assisting the Pharmacist in a variety of pharmacy-related duties utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served while adhering to regulated standards and rules. Assists Pharmacists with communication to patients and providers Prepares and labels medications for dispensing Assures adequate supplies of medications are available Delivers meds to patients, nursing units, and LTC facilities

Job Requirements:

Education:

HS diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Skills:

Customer service, computer proficiency, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information relating to the needs of individual patients

Licensure/Certification:

Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri within

Physical:

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing The position is : PRN working 10-hour shifts every other weekend.
