Job Description

NO PHARMACY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are looking for someone who has consistent customer service experience, preferably in a retail setting. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred but not required to be considered for the position. At Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy we pride ourselves on giving top-notch customer service through every interaction we have with our patients and other medical professionals. We are building an organization with employees who have a passion for providing superior customer service and who work hard to make a difference not only in our patients' lives, but also in our community. We are looking for someone who: can work 40 hours per week, including at least one Saturday a month (two preferred) and one or two evenings per week works hard as part of a team or by themselves has great attention to detail is friendly can meet expectations for excellent customer service can adapt to changes in facility needs has a minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years, with two or more years preferred has strong analytical and critical thinking skills has excellent written and verbal communication skills has strong organizational skills
Responsibilities:
First and foremost, provide
EXCELLENT
customer service to our patients Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders Process prescriptions using computer software Label and record dosage information Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies Answer phone calls directed to the store Handle monetary transactions Assist customers in the store and over the phone
Pay Rate:
Starting at $17/hr, with pay bumps available as you learn more within the pharmacy. Higher starting pay available if you have previous pharmacy experience.
