OVERVIEW

Infinium Pharmacy is a privately owned and independently operated, Long Term Care Pharmacy, dedicated to meeting the growing need for personalized pharmaceutical care in Skilled and Assisted Living facilities.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Order-Entry Technician performs day-to-day duties under the supervision of the Data Entry Coordinator in accordance with established pharmacy principles, polices, and procedures and/or law.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Entering of patient information & prescription orders Customer Service (answering phones, contacting physician offices and insurance companies) Printing monthly sheets and/or reports Prescription Fulfillment Resolving daily insurance claim rejections Other Duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and

ABILITIES

Education Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Missouri Pharmacy Technician License Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred Qualifications Long Term Care experience, preferred Microsoft Office knowledge Typing and/or data entry skills Basic computer, email & faxing knowledge Great attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness Superior organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/self-driven Ability to take direction Work Environment/Physical Demands Continually required to sit for up to 10 hours/day Continually utilize visual acuity to read fine and/or small print, and to work off a computer screen for up to 10 hours/day Occasionally required to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds Having a range of motion from kneeling to bending over to raising arms above head to occasionally retrieve stock

Travel:

0%-5% (facility visits may be required on occasion but should not require any overnight stays) A background check and pre-employment drug screen is required.
