Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A small hospital in the St. Louis suburbs seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and is expected to last approximately 8 weeks. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Perform sterile compounding with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols Restock Omnicell medication dispensing systems efficiently Field incoming calls to the pharmacy, providing timely assistance Support daily pharmacy workflow and maintain medication inventory Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure patient safety
Qualifications:
Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred Strong knowledge of sterile compounding techniques Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Local candidates or those within reasonable commute distance strongly preferred
