Certified Medical Assistant/Pharmacy Tech

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Tech to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and support to our medical staff.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
• Perform basic medical tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, and in-house testing
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, and general healthcare
• Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Tech is required
• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Experience with medication administration and patient service
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
