Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. Your dedication to accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate service will help improve health outcomes and enhance patient experiences across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and labeling. Manage medication inventory, including stocking, ordering, and verifying supplies to ensure availability for patient care needs. Support patient intake processes by accurately documenting prescriptions, verifying medical terminology, and clarifying medication instructions with healthcare providers. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining medication regimens, and ensuring understanding of proper medication use. Administer medications under supervision in hospital or acute care settings, adhering to all safety protocols related to medication administration. Maintain precise records of medication dispensing, inventory logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management processes. Demonstrated ability to handle intake procedures efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective patient service and collaboration with healthcare providers. Bilingul skills preferred (Spanish).
