Job Description
Pharmacy Technician Duties (60%) Accurately and efficiently process prescriptions using PioneerRx. Assist pharmacists in packaging and dispensing medications. Manage medication synchronization and refill coordination programs. Support vaccine preparation, patient intake, and documentation. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and DME tracking. Pharmacy Marketing Duties (40%) Serve as a community ambassador for the pharmacy, visiting local physicians' offices, senior centers, gyms, and community groups to promote services (vaccines, DME, weight loss programs, etc.). Plan and execute in-store promotions, health events, and patient education campaigns. Assist with social media content, email campaigns, and patient communications. Build and maintain strong relationships with local providers, wellness professionals, and organizations. Track outreach efforts and report ROI of marketing initiatives. Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to implement new growth strategies.
