Full-time About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join a growing pharmacy organization based in Jersey City. This is not an entry-level technician position. We are looking for someone who already has strong retail pharmacy experience, understands pharmacy operations, and can confidently support multiple nearby locations. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, organized, comfortable taking initiative, and able to step into different pharmacy environments while maintaining accuracy and excellent service. What Makes This Position Stand Out Competitive compensation based on experience Senior-level responsibilities Variety from working across multiple nearby locations Supportive and enjoyable team environment Opportunity to become a trusted leader within a growing organization Meaningful role with increased responsibility and visibility Key Responsibilities Support pharmacy operations at the Jersey City location and other nearby locations as needed Process prescriptions accurately using Micro Merchant Systems Handle prescription billing, insurance claims, rejections, reversals, and troubleshooting Resolve third-party billing issues and communicate with insurance providers when necessary Assist with prior authorizations, refill requests, inventory, ordering, and prescription workflow Help guide and support other pharmacy technicians Maintain accurate patient, prescription, and insurance information Communicate professionally with pharmacists, patients, prescribers, and pharmacy staff Help ensure smooth and consistent operations across all assigned locations Required Qualifications Previous experience as a pharmacy technician Strong experience with Micro Merchant Systems Strong knowledge of pharmacy billing and insurance processing Ability to troubleshoot rejected claims and common billing issues Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to nearby pharmacy locations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Professional communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Senior or lead pharmacy technician experience Experience supporting more than one pharmacy location New Jersey Pharmacy Technician registration Experience training or assisting other pharmacy technicians Familiarity with independent or community pharmacy operations Important Requirements Applicants must be willing and able to travel between Jersey City and nearby pharmacy locations . Applicants must also have hands-on experience with Micro Merchant Systems and pharmacy billing . Candidates without this experience may not be considered. Pay:
