Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for
  • Pharmacy Technicians
  • for our client in
  • Newark, NJ
  • !
    • Type:
    • 3-month contract, with potential for extension or a full-time offer
    • Pay:
    • $22 to $25/hr
    • Location:
    • Newark, NJ
    • Schedule:
    • 1st and 2nd shifts available; 40 hours a week.
    • Responsibilities of the
    Pharmacy Technician:
    • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
    • Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions
    • Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
    • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
    • Ensure compliance with all federal and New Jersey pharmacy regulations
    • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
    • Manage inventory and medication storage standards
    • Administer immunizations and health screenings as permitted
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records
    • Qualifications for the
    Pharmacy Technician:
    • + Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License required + High school diploma or equivalent required + Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent communication and customer service abilities + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment + PTCB certification preferred but not required
