Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for Pharmacy Technicians for our client in Newark, NJ!
Type:
3-month contract, with potential for extension or a full-time offer
Pay:
$22 to $25/hr
Location:
Newark, NJ
Schedule:
1st and 2nd shifts available; 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities of the
Pharmacy Technician:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Ensurepliance with all federal and New Jersey pharmacy regulations
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Manage inventory and medication storage standards
- Administer immunizations and health screenings as permitted
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records
Qualifications for the
Pharmacy Technician:
Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
Strong attention to detail andanizational skills
Excellentmunication and customer service abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
PTCB certification preferred but not required
