Pharmacy Professionals:
Responsibilities The pharmacy technician, u nder the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Can participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
Qualifications Job Requirements :
High School graduate or GED. 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. Completion of sterile compounding training/competency. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
