66 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays 401(k) 3% Match Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Pharmacy Technician working under the Pharmacist's license, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, performing routine pharmacy functions including receiving prescriptions from patients and physicians. Prepares prescriptions by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing while working within the regulations of the Nevada Board of Pharmacy. Maintains patient profiles, prepares insurance claim forms. May be asked to perform other related duties as assigned. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Clinic Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (Actual schedule may vary depending on business need) 12 Paid Holidays per year, starting with your first day of employment 20 + PTO days per year (Depending on position) 3% 401K Contribution, even if you do not contribute (after 90 days) Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits that start the first of the month following your start date Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalency. Must graduate from Pharmacy Tech School or complete the Pharmacy Tech in training certificate through the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy. Qualifications A Pharmacy Technician must be registered with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy. Maintains required in-service training as required by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy. Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards. Knowledge of State of Nevada pharmacy laws and regulations. Computer skills and typing skills. Ability to learn pharmacy software systems. Strong communications skills both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of constituencies. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology and drug names. Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA laws. Functions effectively in a Matrix Management environment. Physical Requirements May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods. May include performing repetitive tasks. May include working on a special schedule (i.e. evenings and weekends with clients). May include working with challenging patients and clients.
