Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Shift 1 Job Description Specialty Pharmacy Technicians are trained on the specialty medications dispensed and medical conditions encountered in the unique patient population serviced. The Specialty Pharmacist Technician prepares medications for patients under the guidance of the Specialty Pharmacist. Assists the Pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense complex disease state medications, price-checking, restocking of drugs, and assists with other Specialty Pharmacy program operations as required. Education And Credentials High School Diploma or GED required. Registered Pharmacy technician required upon hire. Certified Pharmacy Technician required upon hire. Experience 1 year of experience in working as a registered pharmacy technician required. 3 years of experience in working as a registered pharmacy technician preferred.
