MSK:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Technician for the Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion on E. 53rd Street.

Role Overview:

Perform inventory management (ordering, receiving, restocking). Demonstrate proficiency with appropriate pharmacy equipment, systems, and technology. Compound medications, including chemotherapy in a cleanroom. Assist with pharmacy inspections. Adhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures. Make occasional deliveries to chemo units. Perform any other pharmacy operational task needed for patient care. Complete annual competency assessments. Maintain pharmacy files and records in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Key Qualifications:

HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred. PTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPhT) required. NYS Pharmacy Technician License with current registration Although prior chemotherapy experience is not required, having strong IV compounding skills is beneficial.

Schedule:

8-hour variable shifts, with start times as early as 6 AM and ending as late as 8 PM, Monday-Friday, subject to change due to business needs.
