Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem Join a dynamic retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis, supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional patient care. This role focuses on accurate prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service within a busy pharmacy environment.

Newark, New Jersey Schedule/Hours:

1st

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Specific assignment dates: May 18th, May 22nd, May 27th-29th, June 1st-5th

Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system. Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications safely and efficiently. Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, addressing their questions and concerns. Work with third-party insurance plans to resolve prescription adjudication issues and ensure smooth processing.

Qualifications:

Possess a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred to better serve the diverse community. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
