Job Title:
Aseptic Pharmaceutical Fill Technician Job Description The Aseptic Pharmaceutical Fill Technician is responsible for performing all procedures and processes related to the filling of sterile products and maintaining the cleanliness of the aseptic process area. This role involves preparing components for sterile filling, setting up and operating various equipment, and employing aseptic techniques within a clean room/ISO-rated environment. Responsibilities Perform procedures and processes for sterile product filling and aseptic area cleanliness. Set up and operate equipment such as filling machines, powder recovery systems, and vial washers. Employ aseptic techniques in a clean room/ISO-rated environment. Clean and sanitize walls, equipment, and floors according to SOPs. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and replace damaged parts. Operate equipment, including turntables, filling machines, sterilizing tunnels, and autoclaves. Obtain and handle components according to documentation and SOPs. Participate in training programs to maintain qualification status for aseptic areas. Potentially qualify for Quality Control environmental monitoring tasks. Collaborate with other technicians to learn processes. Essential Skills Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile processing. Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently as a self-starter. Flexibility to work overtime and additional days if required. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Sciences preferred. One to three years of experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. Experience in a regulated industry is a plus. Proficiency in data entry. Work Environment This position requires working in a clean room environment. 3rd shift positions are available, with hours from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and a 15% pay differential applies to these hours. Candidates must be flexible for additional work days and hours. Initial orientation and training occur on 1st shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Syracuse, NY.
