No weekends or evenings - Monday thru Friday Paid holidays and paid time off Rapidly growing team with opportunities for advancement Competitive compensation Benefits package Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for: Assist the pharmacist in prescription workflow such as: Registering patients in Pharmacy Software Completing prescription intake by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities. Adjudicates claims through insurances and completes necessary authorizations for approvals Filling prescriptions Cashier duties and scheduling deliveries Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs. Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions. Generates revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges. Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information.
