Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity is for certified pharmacy technicians with a minimum of one year of recent inpatient experience, ideally with IV compounding skills. The role requires an active Ohio pharmacy technician license and national certification. Experience working with Cerner EMR is essential.
Location:
Columbus, OH area
Schedule:
Two positions: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM shifts, every other weekend Two positions: Overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through
Thursday Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications for hospital outpatient and inpatient settings Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure safe medication use Utilize Cerner EMR to document and verify prescriptions Assist with IV medication preparation when applicable Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Active Ohio pharmacy technician license National pharmacy technician certification Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy experience; IV compounding experience preferred Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records system Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Start date: July 26
Duration:
13 weeks Contract position with opportunities for extended assignments This role provides the chance to contribute valuable expertise within a respected hospital outpatient pharmacy team.
