Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the medications and support they need. What You'll Do As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work closely with pharmacists, providers, and patients to support safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Process prescriptions and enter patient and medication information accurately using pharmacy systems. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients and answering questions. Support medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and removing expired medications. Process insurance claims and third-party reimbursements efficiently and accurately. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Help ensure a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Active Pharmacy Technician registration/certification as required by state regulations Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience, including pharmacy or medical data entry Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Skills Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and pharmacy regulations Experience with prescription processing and insurance billing Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office applications Why Join JenCare?
