Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An established healthcare facility in the greater Columbus area is seeking four certified pharmacy technicians to support their inpatient pharmacy operations. This 13-week contract opportunity begins on July 26 and offers a chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a hospital outpatient setting with a focus on inpatient care.
Location:
Dublin, OH area
Schedule:
Two positions: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM shifts, with every other weekend required Two positions: Overnight shifts, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday through
Thursday Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment Perform medication compounding, including IV admixtures (IV experience highly desirable) Utilize Cerner EMR systems to process and document all pharmacy activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and effective medication management
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license and national certification required Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with hospital protocols
