Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Dublin, OH is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment starting June 14th. This opportunity offers exposure to inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in supporting patient care.
Shift Schedule:
Two shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM on alternating weekends Overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through
Thursday Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and protocols Assist with inpatient pharmacy operations, including IV medication preparation (IV experience preferred) Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team to ensure safe and timely medication delivery Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and verification tasks Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license is required National Pharmacy Technician certification is mandatory Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy experience Experience working with intravenous medications is a plus Proficiency using Cerner electronic medical records system This contract role provides an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians looking to expand their clinical experience in an inpatient setting.
