Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician-PRN Community Health Services is seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team! The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy/Pharmacist- in charge to ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications and prescription processing while upholding the highest standards of customer service. CHS employs those who are eager to grow professionally, gain great experience, and work with a terrific team. Qualified candidates must have the following to be considered for employment: Completion of coursework and graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician training program. National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and current registration with the State of Ohio preferred. Certified Immunizing Technician preferred. 2-3 years' experience, preferably in an outpatient setting. Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems. Ability to meet CEU requirements as stipulated by certification or licensure. Current CPR certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in computer and typing skills. Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Occasional lifting and moving of supplies and medications. Standing for extended periods during shifts.
