Job Description

We are seeking a State of Ohio Board Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! This position is responsible for the day-to-day tasks necessary to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to the end-user in long-term care, hospice and home care settings while working under the direction of a pharmacist. Qualifications:

Previous experience in pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy Must register or be in the process of registering with the State of Ohio Pharmacy Board as a Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician Willing to train if you are newly certified or just finished classes Strong attention to detail and very organized Must be flexible to learn all areas of dispensing as we cross train our technicians to perform a variety of tasks

Responsibilities:

Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders Prepare medication and other healthcare products while observing proper handling precautions Dispense medications in proper container based on facility expectations within established time frame Prepare appropriate logs for tracking monthly accuracy General label and/or delivery receipt and review for accuracy Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies Prioritize and manage time appropriately Complete application at www.skilledcarehiring.com or thru Indeed.
