Assists pharmacist in daily routine of filling prescriptions and inventory control and assists patients at the counter Works under the supervision of the
Pharmacist Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
1.
Assist with filling prescriptions:
packages and labels prescriptions under the direct supervision of the pharmacist 2. Pull inventory and count medications 3. Accurately receive telephone orders 4. Run cash register 5. Assist customers Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to): Place orders with vendors to replenish and maintain adequate levels of pharmaceutical inventory Stock merchandise and various food products. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Required:
Excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to count accurately. Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame. Seeks additional appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. Pharmacy Tech Certification and registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
Education:
HS diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a retail Pharmacy
