DEFINITION

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, provides technical support for the provision of pharmaceutical services to all age groups including adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

APPLICABLE

): Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy's Technician Permit required within 120 days.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior hospital experience High school diploma or equivalency Technical training or equivalent experience in a pharmacy.

): Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Technician Permit, or for newly permitted technicians, OSBP Technician Permit must be obtained within 120 days.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

National Certification at the time of hire, or an Associates Degree for an accredited University/Community College. Technical training or equivalent experience in a pharmacy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Prior hospital experience. #ZR
