100% Onsite Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations within an acute care hospital environment. This role involves medication preparation, sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, and assisting pharmacists in delivering safe, efficient patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IV admixture, EPIC charting systems, and automated dispensing systems (e.g., PYXIS) , along with a strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy workflows. Key Responsibilities Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile medications Perform IV admixture for non-hazardous medications Assist with medication dispensing and distribution Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems (e.g., PYXIS) Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and controlled substance documentation Follow aseptic techniques and proper labeling standards Prevent, identify, and report medication errors Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and supplies Document accurately within the EPIC charting system Maintain clean, organized, and sterile pharmacy workspaces Support pharmacists with medication preparation and workflow efficiency Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards

Yes (consecutive weekends required)
Holiday Requirement:
As per facility needs Required Qualifications Experience Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy technician experience Travel experience required Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred Education High School Diploma or GED required Certifications & Licensure Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)
