Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A Pharmacy Technician position is available in Salem, OR, offering a per diem opportunity starting June 17, 2026, and continuing for 5+ weeks. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing prescribed medications and providing essential medication information to patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate delivers exceptional customer service and demonstrates a strong commitment to patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
Location:
Salem, OR (flexible to work in surrounding areas as needed)
Responsibilities:
Distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners Provide accurate and clear information to customers about their medications and usage Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring patient needs are met promptly Assist pharmacy staff with daily operational tasks as required
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician license Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Commitment to adhering to pharmacy laws and regulations
