Job Description
Join Concordia as a full-time Order Entry Technician and play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations. As an Order Entry Technician, you'll ensure prescription orders are entered accurately, processed efficiently, and delivered to the pharmacy team on schedule. Why You'll Love This Order Entry Technician Role Full-time position with a stable schedule Daylight hours only Meaningful work supporting resident care and pharmacy services Opportunity to utilize and grow your pharmacy technician skills Collaborative and supportive team environment What You'll Do as an Order Entry Technician Accurately enter new and refill prescription orders into the pharmacy system Review and verify medication order information, including dosage, frequency, route, and duration Contact facilities to clarify prescription orders when needed Generate prescription labels for pharmacy processing and delivery Process insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and census information Assist with claim adjudication and resolve order-related issues Provide excellent customer service while handling incoming calls Maintain confidentiality and comply with all pharmacy regulations and company policies What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board-approved training program, CPhT certification, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee Registration Strong computer, typing, and data entry skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Join Our Mission Today!
