Job Description
The Chalfont Pharmacy at Chalfont is looking for a motivated,outgoing individual, for a pharmacy technician position. Must be proficient in computer data entry and have the ability to multitask. This is a Full Time/part time position around 15 to 20 hrs. or 35 to 40 hrs. a week . This job will require a combination of daytime and evening hours up to 6pm. Must pass a drug test and background check, pharmacy technician experience a must. Understands and follows applicable Federal and State laws (e.g., HIPAA), regulations (e.g., OSHA), professional standards, and ethical principles. The pharmacy is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, where each interaction has intention and the team works together for a shared purpose. Learn more by visiting your state's Board of Pharmacy website or asking the hiring manager. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by specific state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.). Education High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
