Support patient service activities by providing clear information on medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, especially when handling sterile products in critical care or acute care environments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and optimal patient outcomes. Keep detailed documentation of medication dispensing activities, inventory levels, and quality assurance records. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with a strong background in LTC pharmacy or hospital settings. Critical care experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to handle complex medication regimens in high-pressure environments. Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and aseptic techniques. Strong patient service orientation with effective communication skills to support patient care initiatives. Familiarity with IV infusion preparation and sterile compounding practices.
