Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will provide essential technical support for the Department of Pharmaceutical Services. Your responsibilities will include labeling, preparing, dispensing, and distributing pharmaceutical products to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring safe and accurate medication delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications accurately for all patient age groups. Label pharmaceutical products following department protocols. Support inpatient pharmaceutical services, including IV and sterile compounding. Utilize Pyxis and Omnicell systems for medication management. Participate in weekend rotations and adjust to variable afternoon shifts based on department needs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. NJ Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain one promptly. National certification from PTCB or NHA. Minimum of 1 year of inpatient experience, including IV preparation. IV/Sterile Compounding certification is highly preferred. Competency with Pyxis and Omnicell software preferred.

Location & Schedule:

Position based in Flemington, NJ, approximately one hour from Edison, Newark, and New York City. Variable workdays with afternoon shifts and scheduled weekend rotations to meet departmental requirements.
