Contract Job Duties:
Receives and stocks deliveries of pharmaceuticals and other supplies. Prepares, packages, and labels medications prior to dispensing. Delivers medications to care areas within the hospital. Delivers medications to off-site locations. Manages pharmacy inventory management, including use of electronic inventory management systems. Monitors product expirations and removing outdated stock from inventory. Responds to product recalls. Compounds non-sterile and sterile medication preparations. Cleans and disinfects procedures. Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones and maintaining adequate supplies. Identifies at least one area of specialized skill or expertise. Trains/mentors new pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns. Maintains sufficient additional criteria as outlined in the Pharmacy Technician Career Ladder criteria grids
Job Requirements:
CPhT from PTCB PA State License 2+ years of Inpatient Experience as
Pharmacy Tech EPIC and Pyxis Experience Schedule:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon 36
Hours Per Week Benefits:
