Outpatient Certified Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time

Full Time Day Shift Schedule Full-Time:

40 Hours/Weekly Pharmacy is open M-F 9am-8pm, Sat/Sun 9am- 5pm. Weekly rotations of 9-5:30, 10-6:30, and 11:30-8; every 3rd weekend. General Summary Fills routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and performs other related duties.

Essential Functions:

Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels. Assists patient, taking prescription, necessary information, etc. Operates cash register. Delivers medications as needed. Submits and receives orders from suppliers. Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications. Assists with I.V. preparation and delivery. Position shares responsibility with other team members for daily delivery of patient medications to a Script Center in Mt. Gretna, PA. (Applies only to staff working at Good Samaritan Pharmacy location only; Department 43514).

Qualifications Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required Work Experience:

No experience. Required Previous customer service experience.
