Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A pharmacy technician position is available for a short-term assignment from September 8 to September 10 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This per diem role offers the opportunity to support pharmacy operations during first shift hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system. Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications. Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs and concerns. Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth prescription processing.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Pennsylvania. Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience. Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacy technician who excels in a fast-paced retail setting and possesses strong customer service skills. The assignment is per diem and offers a competitive pay rate.
