Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care and medication management. Your expertise in medication administration, patient service, and medical terminology will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services in a hospital or clinical setting. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including inhalation therapies and critical care medications. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and treatment plans. Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards. Utilize aseptic technique while compounding sterile preparations to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes through effective medication management. Conduct inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals as needed. Educate patients on proper medication administration techniques and potential side effects. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmacy practices is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
