$1576.00•$1624.00 This Pharmacy Technician position is based in Yankton, South Dakota, a friendly riverside community along the Missouri River known for its beautiful parks, nearby Lewis and Clark Lake, and a historic downtown with local shops and restaurants. Yankton offers safe neighborhoods, quality schools, and an affordable cost of living, making it an appealing place to live and work. You will support pharmacists in a modern pharmacy environment by processing medication orders, filling and labeling prescriptions, assisting with cart fills, restocking automated dispensing cabinets, and helping manage inventory. Depending on the setting, you may also assist with sterile compounding and preparation of IV medications. A typical day involves close collaboration with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery and strong focus on patient safety. Shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends based on operational needs. You will gain valuable experience working with a variety of patient populations and medication types, in a team culture that emphasizes collaboration, respect, and ongoing learning.
