Position :
Automed Pharmacy Technician( Evening shift) The Automed Pharmacy Technician performs day-to-day duties under the supervision of the AutoMed Supervisor Pharmacist in accordance with established pharmacy principles, policies, and procedures and/or law.Industry:

Education-High School Diploma Certified Technician by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Preferred (not required) Tennessee Board of Pharmacy registered (must be obtained within 90 days of employment) Automed Pharmacy Technician Job Functions Ensure correct Parata screen setup, interpret orders correctly, and select the correct drug in FWLTC/Automed interface Clarify orders as needed and follow procedures to ensure timely reimbursement Perform the following Automed functions: understand FWLTC/Automed interface, run cyclefill and daily orders in a timely manner, ensure tray accuracy, follow procedures for bar code canister fills, follow procedures for paper change and ribbon change, and seek assistance under appropriate circumstances Flash/create cycle fill batches correctly using the facility checklist to ensure that we do not miss any wings/floors Work the expiring orders report prior to flashing cycle fill batches Perform Perl edits in a timely manner Clean Parata machines twice weekly Return/cut out credits/returns when appropriate Complete daily tasks list at end of each shift Attempt to overcome communication barriers, and listen to others with empathy Communicate with pharmacy staff members to ensure timely handling of daily orders Work with other staff to solve problems and create new solutions Accept feedback and constructive criticism with a positive attitude Understand the phone system, the email system, the fax server system, and the Drug Wholesaler system Keep the work area clean and participate in organization meetings and in-service training sessions Arrive and leave on time and take lunch/breaks appropriately Maintain totes/bags for facilities Prioritize daily requirements and use spare time wisely Assist inventory management team in maintaining adequate, but not excess inventory levels for the automed department Assist in finding alternative sources if a drug is not available Assist in efforts to reduce costs related to office supplies, materials, and work flow process Properly handle inventory transfers to and from other departments All other duties as assigned by your supervisor Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time Ability to work and communicate effectively with others Ability to perform light lifting and repetitious physical activityWork Remotely No Job Type:
